Obituary:
Funeral Mass for Madelyn Rae ``Maddie'' Clifton, 8, will be held at 10 A.M., Saturday, in the San Jose Catholic Church with Msgr. John J. Lenihan officiating. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery. Maddie was born June 17, 1990 in Jacksonville. She was a third grade student at San Jose Catholic School; a member of San Jose Catholic Church; and the Biddy Basketball League. Survivors include her parents, Steven and Sheila Clifton; her sister, Jessica Catherine Clifton, of Jacksonville; her grandfather, Garland Strickland of Orange park; her grandmother, Florence Strickland of Jacksonville; her grandfather, John T. Clifton of Savannah, Georgia; several aunts, uncles, and cousins. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the Maddie Clifton Memorial Fund.
